Building Vibrant Tamil Community

Established on 22 December 2024, the Birmingham Tamil Community Centre was founded with the vision of creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive space for the Tamil community. Our centre exists to bring people together, celebrate Tamil culture and heritage, and support social, educational, and cultural development for present and future generations.

We aim to foster unity, mutual respect, and a strong sense of belonging by providing opportunities for community engagement, cultural activities, learning programmes, and social support. The Centre serves as a platform where individuals and families can connect, share knowledge, preserve traditions, and grow together in a positive and inclusive environment.

The Birmingham Tamil Community Centre is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC)and operates fully in accordance with the regulations set by the CIC Regulator. Our activities are carried out for the benefit of the community and are guided by transparency, accountability, and public interest.

In line with CIC regulations, the Centre is strictly non-political. We do not engage in, support, or promote any political activities, parties, or agendas. Our focus remains solely on community welfare, cultural enrichment, education, and social well-being.

Through collaboration, volunteerism, and shared values, the Birmingham Tamil Community Centre strives to build a strong, vibrant, and united Tamil community for today and for generations to come.

உயிரோட்டமிக்க தமிழ் சமூகத்தை உருவாக்குதல்

22 மார்கழி 2024 அன்று நிறுவப்பட்ட பேர்மிங்காம் தமிழ் சமூக நிலையம் (Birmingham Tamil Community Centre), தமிழ் சமூகத்தை ஒருங்கிணைத்து, ஒன்றிணைந்து வளரவும், கற்கவும், கலாச்சாரத்தைப் பாதுகாக்கவும் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு பாதுகாப்பான மற்றும் வரவேற்பான மேடையாக செயல்படுகிறது.

தமிழ் மொழி, பண்பாடு, மரபுகள் ஆகியவற்றை பாதுகாத்து வளர்ப்பதுடன், சமூக ஒற்றுமை, பரஸ்பர மரியாதை மற்றும் சேர்ந்துணர்வை வலுப்படுத்துவதே எங்களின் முதன்மை நோக்கமாகும். கல்வி, கலாச்சாரம், சமூக நலன் மற்றும் பொதுநல செயல்பாடுகள் மூலம் அனைத்து வயதினருக்கும் பயனளிக்கும் நிகழ்ச்சிகளை ஏற்பாடு செய்து வருகிறோம்.

பேரமிங்காம் தமிழ் சமூக நிலையம், Community Interest Company (CIC) ஆக பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட அமைப்பாகும் மற்றும் CIC ஒழுங்குமுறை ஆணையத்தின் விதிமுறைகளுக்கிணங்க முழுமையாக செயல்படுகிறது. எங்களின் அனைத்து நடவடிக்கைகளும் சமூக நலனுக்காகவும், வெளிப்படைத்தன்மை மற்றும் பொறுப்புணர்வுடன் மேற்கொள்ளப்படுகின்றன.

CIC விதிமுறைகளின்படி, எங்கள் நிலையம் முழுமையாக அரசியல் சார்பற்றது. எவ்வித அரசியல் கட்சிகள், இயக்கங்கள் அல்லது அரசியல் நோக்கங்களிலும் எங்கள் அமைப்பு ஈடுபடுவதில்லை, ஆதரிப்பதில்லை அல்லது ஊக்குவிப்பதில்லை. எங்களின் முழு கவனமும் சமூக மேம்பாடு, கலாச்சார வளர்ச்சி, கல்வி மற்றும் சமூக நலனில் மட்டுமே உள்ளது.
